FAQ

Is this workshop for me?

Whether you are a beginner or an intermediate photographer, this workshop is designed to cater to all skill levels. During the in-person workshop, you will get hands-on experience and expert guidance on various techniques and concepts related to portrait photography.

What camera gear should I bring?

Bring any camera and lens that you love using and are familiar with. We will assume that you have basic knowledge of how to operate your camera — adjusting your aperture, shutter speed and ISO settings. But feel free to approach the host for help if you're stuck.

Can I bring strobes/flash/continuous lights?

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own lighting but limit these to portable and smaller lights. Be mindful of other photographers around you when setting up.

Can I share the images on my social media channels?

Absolutely. Please keep in mind, it's common courtesy to credit the host and model by tagging them in your post/s.

Will the workshop proceed if it rains?

We have alternative locations under cover that we can work at. If weather is worse than normal, the host has the option of postponing and rescheduling the workshop. In these cases, you will be informed as soon as possible.

Can I get a refund after I book?

Refunds may be allowed in acceptable circumstances. In the unfortunate event that you can't make it, you have the option to reschedule your spot for a different workshop of the same value (depending on availability). IMPORTANT: TryBooking fees are NON-REFUNDABLE and will be deducted from the full price.
